Not only dogs, but blowers too are a man’s best friend

This tool is a common lawn and garden maintenance tool with a big voice. Unfortunately blowers make a lot of noise and have been banned from some cities, because it causes noise pollution. Be that as it may a blower is still a tool that is really a must have for any self respected garden and gardener. Gone are the days when all maintenance and cleaning were done by hand.

The blower is one of the most popular gardening tools. A leaf blower is gardening tool that propels air out of a nozzle to move yard debris such as leaves. Leaf blowers are usually powered by two-stroke engine or an electric motor, but four-stroke engines were recently introduced to partially address air pollution concerns. Leaf blowers are typically self contained handheld units, or backpack mounted units with a handheld wand. The latter is more ergonomic for prolonged use. Some units can also suck in leaves and small twigs via a vacuum, and shred them into a bag.

Although dog and blower is man’s best friend the two are not compatible in the garden. Normally when the blower appears the dog sees the blower as the enemy and wants to tear it apart. There is also a lot more noise involved than usual when only the blower is in the garden. Be careful, because the blower normally comes in second place and this can be a very costly incident when the dog destroys the blower.

Most blowers double up as blowers and vacuums with the touch of a button. These two in one tools that are cordless are easy to use and operate. There are no real safety issues to be aware of, but it always sensible to wear protective eye gear.
